How would you handle grandparents who consistently pay more attention to and buy more presents for one of your children over the other?
Do you ignore it or call them out on it? And if you say something, how do you approach it?

I would call them out on it before the children notice and it becomes hurtful to them. You may have a while before that happens but... the grandparents may not even realize they are doing it.
Just wondering, do they not read the blog? I've often wanted to pose questions on mine but haven't because of the *eyes* that are around.

That cat of yours getting too much attention and presents?
Maybe gently say something to them? That you're sure they aren't doing it on purpose but that you've noticed the behavior. I'm sure they don't even realize they're doing it and will surely change their behavior once it's brought to their attention.
I can honestly say this has happened where my mom buys more for my nephew and my sister(his mother) actually says something to my mom about being fair and equal. I was shocked but grateful she took the bullet for me.
You should certainly call them out on it; my aunt's in-laws did this to my cousins, and it created tons of friction while my aunt was being polite.
Balls. This situation made me wince. Yuck.
I have no earthy idea what I would do, but I do know that if it was my parents--I'd say something and if it were my husband's parents--he'd say something.
Keep us updated (if you can...)
ouch! i would for sure find a way to bring it up. it will hurt, eventually & kids shouldn't have to go through that if it can be avoided, eh?
